how do i not notice this amazing dessert store before?! they have the best burnt egg tart i ever have in Melbourne. they use the pure egg for the filling which make the texture much much better, smooth and firm. the strawberry sponge cake definitely is must, so flavourful, so fluffy. the cream between the sponge cake was yum!! so light!!

Went there for my partners birthday and tried 4 different cakes. ❣️Strawberry shortcake ❣️Tiramisu ❣️Dacquoise pistachio and raspberry ❣️Mille Feuile They were all so good it was hard to choose which one was my favourite. But I will definitely recommend the last two since they blew my mind when I tasted them. Looking forward to going back and trying different cakes with some coffee💫

A small cake shop with a rotating selection of sweet treats; their signature strawberry shortcake, tiramisu and Portuguese egg tart are usually available everyday. Been here several times and tried the following sweets: - Portugese egg tart; very flaky and buttery, sweet and eggy, really good but a bit expensive - Strawberry shortcake; nice small chunks of strawberries in a thick whipped cream, sponge is sort of like a sweet brioche, doesn't really crumble - Tiramisu; not sure if it's a mascarpone cream but it's very silky smooth, rich and milky; a bit too much cream to sponge ratio. Coffee flavour is mild - Pistachio and raspberry dacquoise; soft and moist dacquoise base with a nutty pistachio custard paired with a light whipped cream and a burst of sweet and slightly tart fresh raspberry and lemon curd - Saint honore; layered flaky puff pastry base, topped with mini choux puffs with a crunchy caramel top, chantilly cream and caramel sauce. Looks heavy but surprisingly light on the stomach - Hazelnut choux cream puff; light whipped hazelnut cream balanced with a rich hazelnut praline centre Overall delicious sweet treats; very tasty and not too sweet, textures on point. Only one I wasn't fond of was the tiramisu which also happened to be the most expensive.
